Emilia-Romagna Food Tour in Parma & Modena
As we traveled from Bologna to Sienna, we stopped for a Food Tour in Parma & Modena. If anyone is interested in food, I absolutely recommend it! We went to see how the followings were made: Parmigiano-Reggiano, Proscuitto di Parma, & Balsamico Tradizionale di Modena (aged Balsamic Vinegar). I won’t go into details about the tour, just in case if anyone’s planning to go visit Tuscany for food tour.
Here are some photos of Parmigiano-Reggiano factory. It’s barely a factory since there’s really only 3 people working there. These cheese makers did EVERYTHING on their own and works 365 days a year!

Balsamico Tradizionale di Modena (aged Balsamic Vinegar). In Italy, each Vineyard is only allowed to sell 1,000 bottles of 100ml of these amazing Balsamic Tradizionale. It tasted like NOTHING I’ve ever tasted!
